Jordi Trias became President of Stolt Sea Farm in January 2018, initially joining the Group as Managing Director in 2016. Prior to this he spent 14 years with GBFoods, where he held several positions in marketing, sales and business unit management, working in Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Senegal. Jordi is also currently VP of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He is a citizen of Spain.
Luis Toro
Vice-President
Luis Toro became Vice-President of Stolt Sea Farm in January 2006 and is also head of all Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal and Administrative areas of the Group. He joined Stolt Sea Farm in 1995 after working as a Controller and Imports Operations Manager at Pez Austral, a company marketing pre-cooked frozen seafood. Before being appointed Vice President, Luis acted as Business Controller and IT Manager. He was also Managing Director of Stolt Sea Farm, S.A. from 2010 to 2014. Luis holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE in Madrid. He is a Spanish citizen.
Raymond Bolwijn
Chief Commercial Officer
Raymond Bolwijn joined Stolt Sea Farm as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2023, with responsibility for the Sales and Marketing departments of the business. He has more than 25 years of experience in management positions in the food and beverage and automotive sales industries, working for companies including Unilever, Volkswagen Group, Grupo Leche Pascual, Chupa Chups, Grupo Damm, Grupo Mahou-Sanmiguel and Aceites Maeva.
Oscar Iglesias
Chief Operations Officer
Óscar Iglesias López was appointed as Stolt Sea Farm's Chief Operations Officer in May 2021, after being Engineering Manager since June 2009, when he first joined the company. Prior to this, he spent eight years with Cortizo and Gamesa, where he held several positions within maintenance, detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects management. Óscar holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the University of Vigo. He is a citizen of Spain.
Rubén Faraldo
Fish Division Director
Rubén Faraldo joined Stolt Sea farm in 2002 and became Fish Division Director in June 2017 after several internal promotions: Site manager (2002-2006), Production assistant Manager (2006-2009) and Hatchery Manager (2009-2017). Prior to joining Stolt Sea Farm, he worked as an scientific observer on-board fishing boats in the Mediterranean Sea. He also has three years of experience from a trout and salmon company in Spain. Rubén holds a degree in Biology from La Coruna University, an MBA from the Escuela Europea de Negocios in La Coruna and an Environmental and Engineering Master degree. He is a Spanish citizen.
Ana Riaza
R&D Manager
Ana Riaza joined Stolt Sea Farm in 1989 as a Development Biologist. From 1994 to 1998 she held the position as Hatchery Manager before being promoted to R&D and Health Manager in 1998, a position she held until 2017 when she was appointed R&D and Laboratory Manager. Ana has been involved in projects relating to reproduction and selective breeding of turbot and sole, development of larval rearing protocols, the development of vaccines and sanitary plans for turbot and sole, as well as development of diets for both species, and the identification of relevant environmental factors for the best performance of both species. She has a degree in Biology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), a Master thesis in fish nutrition, and received the scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Education for the First Spanish Promotion of Senior Technicians in Aquaculture. Ana is a scholar of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO; Murcia, one year) and The Institute Français de Recherche pour la Exploitation de la Mer (IFREMER, two years). She is a Spanish citizen.
Carlos Tavares
Sustainability Manager
Carlos Tavares Ferreira joined Stolt Sea Farm in 2018 as Sustainability Director. Prior to joining Stolt Sea Farm, Carlos had an extensive career in a multinational company in the wood-based panels sector, primarily focusing on and gaining a lot of experience on sustainability. He also has several years of experience in leading roles at forest sector associations. He has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Porto and holds an Executive MBA in Marketing. He is a Portuguese citizen.
Rafael Martínez Fernández
Human Resources Manager
Rafael Martínez Fernández joined Stolt Sea Farm as HR Manager in October 2022. Rafael has extensive experience in HR management roles, having previously worked in multinational companies, such as Grupo Profand and Denso, and a range of different sectors including automotive, food, construction and fashion. He has a doctorate in law from the University of A Coruña and is a Spanish citizen.
