Stolt Sea Farm, partner in a new European project: AQUA-FAAANG

Stolt Sea Farm is a partner in a new European project, AQUA-FAAANG, the purpose of which is to make fish stocks more resilient by improving their resistance to possible illnesses.

Duration: May 2019 to May 2023. Place of execution: our facilities in Quilmas (A Coruña), Spain.

The objective is to promote the health of farmed fish by improving their resistance to possible illnesses.

The project will be carried out by a research consortium made up of the following research centres:

The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Wageningen University & Research (WUR), French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRAE), ​EFFAB, The University Court of the University of Aberdeen (UNIABDN), The University of Padova (UNIPD), The Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, The University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Zaklad Ichtiobiologii i Gospodarki Rybackiej – ZIGRPAN, the University of Birmingham and la Universidad de Barcelona.
